ZTE to Build TD-SCDMA Test Network in Romania

According to Xinhua's China Economic Information Service, ZTE has won a contract to build a TD-SCDMA test network in Romania. It marks the first time that China's homegrown 3G standard will be tested by a foreign telecom operator. ZTE hopes that the tests, if successful, will help to promote TD-SCDMA in Europe and stimulate its acceptance there.
